Business Development Manager (Traffic Management)
About Us:
Doocey Traffic Management are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager serving existing clients in the West Midlands, and East Anglian regions. Over the last decade, the business has expanded significantly, based on an excellent reputation for performance and delivery.
Purpose:
As a motivated and experienced business development manager you will develop and implement growth strategies for DTM. Your work will involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets by enhancing the operation of the business, position. This is an essential role in the further expansion of DTM.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Generate new business leads, opportunities and retain existing in both regions within key industry sector– construction, utilities, telecoms, fibre, events etc.
* Need to be able forecast keep track and report client monthly spend.
* Ensure growth and profitability across low speed, high speed, and event management as well as key industries.
* Visit/ contact client regularly to ensure we have a long–standing relationship with them and help increase further opportunities.
* Work with the operations offices to implement and drive sales campaigns.
* Liaise with operation/ back office to resolve any client complaint or issue.
* Ensuring financial aspects and impacts are clear to all parties.
* Liaise with operational depots to provide accurate and current contract costs.
* Ensure client expectations are met in a timely and a cost–effective way by liaising with operations depots.
* Use marketing tools to maximise customer retention and new business e.g., social media, website, brochures, and flyers etc.
* Deliver objectives on sales, profit, debt, CRM, and customer satisfaction.
* Need to have a good knowledge of local markets, competition, and customers to propose deals.
