Are you actively seeking a new Planning opportunity?
The Role:
A Top 200 Law firm in Birmingham are currently recruiting a Planning Lawyer to join their team, assisting the Legal Director in building on their existing practice, supporting on development new and existing projects. Currently working predominantly with local government/public bodies and registered providers, there is an opportunity here to further develop the clientele to include energy/environmental and carbon-related matters.
The purpose of this role will be to support the department in ensuring smooth operation, providing high quality legal services and assisting in the medium to long term department growth plans.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have at least 3 years PQE, with experience of planning, highways and CPO matters. It would be advantageous to bring experience of energy/environmental and carbon reduction matters.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively prioritise their work, as well as being comfortable supervising and mentoring junior members of the team. You will have a flexible approach and be able to utilise initiative, complying with relevant policies, procedures and working in accordance with the company values.
