As organisations, we lead the way together in the use of evidence informed practice by bringing research closer to schools.
THE ROLE OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – PARTNERS IN LEARNING
To provide inspirational leadership for Partners in Learning, supporting schools and developing strategic ambitions that increase the organisations reach, reputation and impact.
Strategic responsibility for the Charity’s financial and business growth, ensuring sustainability and diversity of income streams, through strengthening and embedding effective partnership working, that will enable schools to access wider expertise and opportunities.
The Board are looking for a high calibre CEO with a proven track record of achievement and credibility. The successful candidate will be values driven, with the ability to make Partners in Learning an ethical and great charitable organisation to work for, leading the way together for every child, in every school, every day.
THE INDIVIDUAL
You will be an outstanding leader with the skillset to provide ambitious strategic direction for the organisation, able to articulate its vision, values and ethos and inspire and empower others to share in achieving them.
We are looking for a CEO with credibility, influence, and gravitas, with a proven track record of achievement in the education, charity, or business sector. Agility, resilience, and an adaptable attitude towards work, with the capacity to be creative, innovative, and continually motivate and inspire those around you is essential.
You will have highly developed networking, partnership, advocacy and negotiating skills, to nurture and influence successful two–way relationships with key stakeholders and commercial partners, that will enable member schools to improve, through access to wider expertise and opportunities.
We would particularly like to hear from those with demonstrable commercial acumen with a proven track record of developing diverse income streams and an understanding of how organisations can contribute towards school improvement and help to raise the aspirations of local communities.
