Financial Controller - Creative Agency - Central London
My client, a Creative Agency in central London are looking to take on an experience Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring a smooth day to day running of the Finance function. This is a hands-on role, but also provides scope to work closely with management on key decisions about the business.

My client, a Creative Agency in central London are looking to take on an experience Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring a smooth day to day running of the Finance function. This is a hands-on role, but also provides scope to work closely with management on key decisions about the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Client invoicing and credit control
- Accrual and deferral of revenues and direct costs
- Ensure transfer pricing policies are adhered to
- Consolidation of US and UK entities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Ensure insurance policies are sufficient and up to date
- Assist the external accountants in both the UK and the US with the preparation and review of the statutory accounts and tax filing
- Management of the project tracker to determine status of forecast revenue
- Compiling monthly financial performance reports and variance analysis
- P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow full year forecasting
- Review project profitability with Client Leads
- Finance and HR on boarding of new staff
- Management of annual leave requests and tracking
- Review of client and supplier contracts
- Review of part-time bookkeeper's work
Key skills:
- CIMA/ACCA qualified
- A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
- A background within the Creative industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of UK and US accounting regulations
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modelling and analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands on work approach, happy to get stuck in!
- A professional, polished work ethic and ability manage a busy fast paced environment
