A highly successful private school foundation are hiring a Financial Controller reporting to the MD. This fantastic opportunity is a broad role and is a great chance to lead the finance function.
Working across the two schools, you will report to the MD and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance and accounting activities. You will play a critical part in the shaping of the finance function and in integrating a robust financial culture within the foundation. This will be a broad role requiring a hands-on individual, as comfortable handling the day to day finance as you are handling the preparation of monthly reports and commercial business partnering to the MD and board. The role will manage a small team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). The successful candidate will need to have strong attention to detail, be pro-active and have great stakeholder engagement. Any sector background will be considered. Candidates should have a proven track record and be a team player.
This role is looking to pay a strong basic salary, plus a very generous benefits including: bonus, 45 days holiday and opportunity for private school fees paid. Flexible working is considered.
