LBN- Head of Capital Programme

To be accountable for the management and successful delivery of the Housing Capital works programme. Managing a team of project managers and working with consultants to deliver the programme objectives. Works are delivered by both the Councils Direct Works team and also private contractors. Responsible for a varied programme of works value circa GBP50M. Reporting the Assistant Director of Housing. Responsible for the development and delivery of the energy improvement programme, including the ECO3 funded works. Working with procurement team and PMO staff to deliver new projects as required. Delivering safe works and a high level of resident satisfaction with the conduct of the works. Management of the Councils retrofit coordinator and PMO officer. Liaison with other teams to ensure data systems are updated and programmes of work are prepared and delivered. Managing and preparing budget reports as required and assisting with the development of the Asset Management Strategy. Responsible for chairing the Capital Programme Board – ensuring reports are provided, agendas set and actions followed up as necessary.
