Fantastic new position with a leading TV and film production company in London. You will be reporting into the Head of Legal and working on a broad range of media, commercial and IP issues. These will include:
The successful applicant will have an excellent academic record; be a qualified lawyer with 2-6+ years' PQE and must have media law experience, either from private practice or in-house. You will have an understanding of the fast-moving world of digital and television rights. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and become an integral part of the legal team and company.

- Providing legal and business affairs services across the development slate, including making offers to agents, negotiating terms, drafting and negotiating long-form contracts (covering primarily book, script and development finance deals);
- Advising on pre-clearance issues during development, such as life rights and copyright issues;
- Providing legal and business affairs support to productions during prep, production and post-production, including talent deals, location deals, services contracts and with production clearance issues;
- Negotiating broadcaster production finance deals, and any co-production or co-financing arrangements (both UK and international);
