Our client is a well-established, PE backed, services business with impressive growth particularly over the last 2 years. They are now looking to recruit a truly commercial CFO who will work as a key strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for driving future growth and ensuring successful execution of the 3 year plan. The incoming CFO will be seeking a value creating role and will have previous experience working in a high growth, PE backed business.

Responsibilities
- Ensure overall leadership of company accounting and financial management function underpinned by effective financial controls
- Formulate financial plans in accordance with the strategy determined by the Board including the updating of the current strategy with full ownership of the 3 year plan
- Take a lead role on all M&A activity including integration
- Develop KPIs that support the company’s management and development
- Ensure accounting policies comply with relevant accounting standards and that company policies are up to date and followed
- Oversee preparation of statutory and monthly management accounts, including cash and performance forecasts
- Oversee 12 month rolling P&L and cash flow
- Highlight trends in revenues, margins and costs
- Manage and develop key relationships with the company’s bank, investors and auditors
- Ensure compliance with investor arrangements
- Ensure effective maintenance of internal IT systems
- Overall responsibility for all HR matters, including employee contracts
- Maintain appropriate company policies and insurances including Professional Indemnity
- Ensure effective company-wide communication
- Company secretarial duties
- Professionally qualified accountant ACA or equivalent
- Hands on experience with multiple stakeholders, ideally PE
- Prior experience of successfully leading a finance function during periods of fast-paced growth
- Previous experience of working in a technology business would be advantageous
