We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Cumbria based nuclear industry client on a 12 months' contract basis involving both site based and home based working.
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and support project management on various engineering & construction projects currently underway.
What does the job involve?
* Project Management of engineering projects being executed on a highly regulated site within the nuclear sector.
* Accountable for the quality, cost and schedule of technically complex projects.
* Responsible for the output of a multi–disciplined project team on site.
* Plan and manage the safe delivery of works on site including commissioning on new plant / equipment to the required standards for the client.
* Manage project risks to recognise potential threats early in the process.
What skills and experience do you need?
* Proven track record as a Project Manager in an engineering environment.
* Previous commissioning experience within the nuclear sector.
* Degree qualified in an engineering discipline along with significant project delivery experience.
* Capable of leading others, setting and maintaining high standards.
* Develop good relationships within team and other stakeholders on site.
* APM qualification would be ideal.
