With the business going through an exciting period of growth & development we are currently looking for an VP, Fund & Investment Management (FIM) with Fund Management experience to support the organisation.

Arrow recently launched its newly established independent fund management business and closed its flagship 1.7 EUR billion fund last year. As part of the growth of this division, we are recruiting a VP, FIM to support the Fund Management side of the business as we scale the Operations division. This is a temporary role and will be based at our Manchester offices with some home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only.

The post holder will be joining a dynamic team with a fantastic opportunity to experience direct access to and working alongside senior members of a growing organisation. Accordingly, the role offers opportunity for wide–ranging experience, progression, and strong performance will be quickly recognised.

What will you be doing?

  • Working with the; CEO, COO and CFO to define the Operations Group parameters
  • Agreeing allocation of responsibilities between; Operations, Finance, Legal and Arrow central functions
  • Developing robust pre–acquisition processes to ensure deals are optimally structured
  • Developing robust and scalable post–deal management process maturity, from deal closing to onward portfolio management, in close collaboration with Fund Portfolio Management Group
  • Oversight of all Fund & Investment Management and fund–level entity structures and operating mechanics
  • identifying areas for operating efficiency (cash maximisation and cost efficiency)
  • Management of a portfolio of complex strategic initiatives that may span one or multiple lines of business
  • Working with key stakeholders across various divisions both internally and externally

Do you have?

  • A bachelor's degree or beyond
  • Experience in Finance Services (Banking or Accountancy) or Legal Services
  • Experience in Fund Management Operations
  • Experience with structuring and securitisation
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • The ability to effectively influence others
