The role
We have fantastic opportunity to join us as Group Head of IT Partner Management. Reporting into the Group Head of Architecture, you will provide the opportunity to significantly transform the current business and define the future state.
The location of the role can be flexible but the role will require both office and home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only.
The Group Head of Partner Management will be responsible for the day–to–day management of the Arrow Global Group (AGG) vendor network. You will identify key strategic procurements, operate the current contracts with the existing partners and ensure that all parties meet their obligations and dependencies.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Build an effective and dynamic partner ecosystem. Ensure all partners operate well with each other and are bringing the best of themselves and the market
- Own the partner innovation process, ensuring that partner suggestions are appropriately managed; filtering out those ideas of lower value to AGG and promoting the most valuable ideas
- Own the procurement process, including developing Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal and the evaluation processes to select a new partner
- Act as an escalation and manage the remediation if a particular partner is failing to meet their obligations
- Identify key procurements as required by the group and design and execute the procurement process
- Develop a cost and technology optimisation plan by Company and Platform
- Attend partner and industry events in order to keep current with the latest developments.
To be successful in the role you will have a blend of the following skills and experience:
- Strong programme management delivery experience
- Commercial Delivery Experience
- Customer Awareness – Good understanding of Customer needs
- Experience negotiating and signing complex partnership deals
- Experience of working in fast paced, changeable environments
- communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of partner and customer organisations
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self–motivated, accountable approach, combined with strong sense of teamwork
- Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
