We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Director work with our biggest customer, developing relationships with key stakeholders and providing a service in line with the business strategy and customer expectations. This is a key role that will be responsible for customer engagement, providing improvement strategies and resolving problems with innovative solutions.

The key responsibilities of our Account Director include:
– Growing sustainable strategic relationships with our customers whilst providing innovative solutions
– Accountable for owning and building relationships with main customer stakeholders, ultimately responsible for growing and retaining profitable business
– Creating quarterly account plans to identify strategic opportunities to expand the business and reputation with the customer
– Conducting regular business reviews to ensure customers are satisfied with their products, services and solutions, ensuring that they are aligned with their business needs and objectives
– Scheduling and running regular meetings with customers providing updates on projects, outstanding issues and actions
– Providing service solutions to customer across multiple areas including UK transport, exploring opportunities to provide other services and cross/up sell
– Creating strategic customer account plans
– Lead customer innovation programmes from solution design to implementation, driving end to end supply chain improvements
– Managing supply chains both nationally and internationally, leveraging multiple warehouse and freight types
What we need from you as our Account Director?
– Experience of successfully growing accounts in a similar industry
– Excellent communicator and ability to manage key stakeholders
– Experience in using innovation and technology to make a difference to customers and drive change
– Team player who brings together people to deliver excellent results
– Commercial expertise with ability to analyse complex data and make decisions
– Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
– Self–motivated and enthusiastic
– Ability to take the lead on new opportunities
– Creative problem solver
– Detail–orientated and solution focussed
– Experience of implementing successful change management initiatives
– Excellent presentation skills
