Business Development Manager – Sponsorship and Events

We are representing a business that is at the forefront of the Sporting and Corporate Event and Exhibition sector. Trading for over 20 years, this company has specialised in Sponsorship and Brand Awareness campaigns for some of the Region's top brands. As the business is expanding, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to take advantage of these prosperous times. Based in the Tropics this role comes with a fantastic relocation package.
Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in Sponsorship Sales. They are looking for new business development managers to join their team in the Asia Pacific region.
The key to this role
* Ability to provide cost effective and sterling advertising solutions by dealing with English speaking clients in Europe and the Middle East.
* Develop new business by closing deals effectively. One call close mentality
* Pitch and present with passion and enthusiasm
* Work alongside an award–winning team of BDM's who are all focused on success.
* Office based
The Business Development Manager
* Should have a great track record with developing new business and closing deals over the phone and face to face.
* You will ideally have an advertising background, however this is not essential.
* Due to the nature of the market and the Corporate Sell involved, you will be a very motivated individual with the ability to listen and fully understand your client's needs and exceed their expectations.
* You will be smart, articulate with drive and enthusiasm to build long lasting and profitable relationships.
The Package
The Business Development Manager will initially start on a basic salary and OTE of GBP25,000–GBP30,000, with a very attractive commission structure which will bring your on target earning upwards of GBP75,000 in your fist year, although last year the top biller earned considerably more. You will be given training by the company to develop your commercial awareness; you will be furnished with flights, visa, company serviced apartment and access to the gym, pool and golf course.
