Cedar are currently supporting a Public Sector organisation who are on the look for a Head of Healthcare Improvement Solutions on an 11 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) position. This role will be home based, with travel required throughout the UK (in line with government guidance) and will offer a salary of up to GBP80,000 plus additional benefits which include a GBP6,600 car allowance, GBP2,400 flex fund, private medical, life assurance, pension and more.

This role is required as maternity cover and is a really unique position within the business which will allow you to build your network within the NHS. You will have direct accountability for providing both breadth and depth of knowledge, through aligned consulting teams to meet the needs of clients engaged. You will be expected to drive business strategic goals forwards through a mix of business development, delivery of services and the optimisation and utilisation of services. You'll need to develop positive professional relationships and work collaboratively across the organisation to implement change programmes that help to continually improve service offerings and deliver ongoing value to customers.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE experience covering:

Experience working in a senior role within the NHS, ideally within Commissioning or Provider Sectors, or worked within a Consultancy providing services into the NHS
Understanding of Public Sector Procurement processes would be advantageous
Management of complex Managed Services, Healthcare Services or implementing Change Programmes would be advantageous
Track record of running operational delivery, balancing multiple client delivery needs whilst achieving financial margin
Experience leading a team of delivery consultants and providing solutions and delivery in terms of personal utilisation management, project delivery and originating, shaping and closing new programmes of work.
MCIPS qualification or alternative industry recognised qualification would be advantageous
