Divisional Finance Director

This leading group require a Divisional Finance Director to act as as a business partner and finance leader as part of new management team to transition from owner managed to integrated business within the Group, as they continue to deliver on exciting growth prospects in construction and building services.

Work closely with current FD (and MD) for smooth transition of all current finance and business processes The role will involve overseeing the implementation of a new ERP system

Develop analytical reporting particularly project profitability

Undertake operational and commercial, end to end review and implement improved systems and processes e.g.

Accrued income/WIP

Retentions

Accrued costs

Job margin reconciliation

Develop and execute plan to improve all aspects of management reporting

Update understanding of all construction industry finance technical issues including IR35, VAT etc.

Develop teams to prepare improved audit information and timeliness of information

Review and improve cash flow forecasting process

Review and improve budgeting process

Support and develop finance team

To apply you must be a ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified (or overseas equivalent) commercial Finance Director or FD Designate/Senior Finance Manager/Controller, ideally with experience of the construction industry and building services sector; Demonstrable delivery of growth and business development; Involved in the detail as well as being able to see and execute the strategic vision of the business.
