This is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre qualified accountant to join one of your fastest growing media organisations of 2021.
Having recently secured a healthy series A investment the growth expectation for this dynamic and truly creative organisation within the next couple of years is considerable.
This independent studio needs to expand their finance team and is looking for a qualified ACA, ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm to join their business. You will need to be at least 2-3 years post qualified who has also gained some experience in industry.
The current finance team is lean and this is a hands on role that will evolve as the business grows. Reporting into the Finance Director you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day finances whilst also helping to define and implement controls and processes. You will support the FD and senior management team ensuring the accounts are timely completed on a monthly basis and helping to scale up over the next coming months/years.
This is such a varied role that is a combination of technical & commercial accounting whilst also assisting with strategy, M&A, fundraising/corporate structuring.

The role:
- Supporting various strategic initiatives including fundraising, corporate structuring and M&A.
- Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of both financial and operational performance
- Producing of the month & year end accounts including managing the annual audit process
- Managing day to day finance operations to include cash flow, payments, payroll and profit and loss
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and rules within tax, VAT and transfer pricing
- Implementation of controls, processes and procedures
The person:
- Fully qualified ACA/CA (ideally Big 4/Top6) with post qualified experience gained within industry
- Strong academics, educated to degree level from a top tier university
- Happy to be hands-on, rolling up your sleeves and get involved
- Driven & self motivated, logical, solutions orientated individual
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge & influence others
- Strong attention to detail, adaptable/flexible in approach
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic & evolving environment.
