We're working with a growing tech company based in the North West who due to continued growth and expansion are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to take their Software As A Service (SAAS) technology to market.
With previous experience of a solution–based sell in the B2B sector you will help prospect, consult and on–board new clients to help this ambitious business achieve its growth goals. You will engage with C suite decision makers as well as owner managers in an engaging and confident manner. These are high value sales with a sales cycle of 4–8 weeks.

Business Development Manager Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role requires someone who is highly motivated with previous experience of successfully selling a service solution in the B2B sector. We are looking for an experienced new business BDM, with tenacity and drive.
In this role you will:
* Build–up, develop and manage your pipeline, using their CRM system to maintain accurate information and up to date forecasts on all prospects.
* Cold call new businesses, generating leads and converting them into appointments.
* Have a consultative approach to building relationships with prospects, focusing on their needs and pains and selling in our software as a solution.
* Present compelling business logic as to why our solutions are the right solution for the client.
* Follow the sales process to ensure that the expectations of the client are met to the highest of standards.
* Understand who the key stakeholders are in the process and adapt pitch to suit audience.
* Work collaboratively with the Digital/Marketing Manager to ensure key messages are delivered and that pitch material is of the highest quality.
Experience Required:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate at the highest level:
* Phone based sales experience, nurturing a sales lead to a closed deal. You will mainly be office based on the phone but will also need to attend face–to–face meetings when necessary.
* 3 years' experience (minimum) in selling business solutions B2B – tech sector experience an advantage.
* Genuine interest of technology and the confidence to talk about software and its capabilities.
* Strong negotiator who always remains professional.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with external Clients and all levels including business owners, with a high focus on managing client expectations.
