ActionAid UK (AAUK) have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full time Receptionist and COO assistant to be based in our London Office.
You will report to the Facilities and Security Manager, working within a team who manage the maintenance of the office and associated compliance. The team are also responsible for ensuring a safe environment for all staff and customers.
As Receptionist and COO Assistant, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient manging of Switchboard (Mitel System), welcoming staff/supporters and visitors, promptly ensuring professional and courteous point of contact. Dealing with all visitor's enquiries both face to face and via Switchboard, working closely with Facilities Team.
A key and essential part of the team's work is to ensure that the Facilities SharePoint is kept up to date with information, working the Facilities Helpdesk ConnectWise tickets system ensuring they are managed within the SLA's agreement.
To manage and coordinate diary and travel commitments, including organising meetings.
It is essential that all applicants have proven experience in the delivery of a professional Receptionist service within a similar environment.
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer service and that they can foster a customer service ethos amongst colleagues.
To succeed in this role, you must have experience of working at the Front of House, including working on a switchboard, along with experience of the day–to–day management of Visitors/Contractors and Suppliers.
