As a Senior Manager within the Centre of Excellence we're looking for you to build excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, take ownership and accountability for ensuring customer requirements are met, embed and cultivate an operational improvement culture whilst demonstrating curiosity around all elements of your role.

You'll be great at...

• Leading, motivating and driving the team responsible for providing all Reporting, Accounting and Controls activities for the front line Business Partner team in close conjunction with the Planning & Analysis team.
• As a team our mission is to cultivate an environment in which people bring out the best and are laying the foundations of the financials used by senior stakeholders for decision making. The skills and background you'd possess requires the application of strong experience of Reporting & Controls activities within Finance as well as a shown ability to lead, coach and empower your team to outstanding delivery.
• You'll be visible to all key stakeholders and seek regular feedback to ensure your team's products and controls are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Ideally, you'll be a qualified accountant or have the equivalent experience and enthusiasm.

Accountabilities:

Lead all aspects of all BAU team activities across the Centre of Excellence including but not limited to:

• The ownership and delivery of the BAU cost base cGBP1bn for GT and GCIO i.e. including but not limited to Flash, month end reporting, standard cost reporting, quarterly reporting, 4YOP and scoping new management reporting.

• Management of a team of highly skilled colleagues supporting their development and growth within the team.

• A key lead in the transition of work into the Centre of Excellence to support the new operating model.

• Represent the Reporting Team across all key stakeholders, including but not limited to the Centre of Excellence Planning and Analysis teams, Business Partner teams and Group Finance Support teams.
