We have embarked on an ambitious programme to enhance our capabilities as a digital knowledge business and are now looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to our Next Generation Digital Production workstream and help bring about transformation towards end–to–end digital processes across T&F's Researcher Services business.
You will be a passionate and driven member of our Content and Data Domain team working with colleagues from across Researcher Services, Product, Architecture, Business Analysis and Engineering to propose solutions that not only meet business needs but align to our longer–term technology roadmap.
It will be essential for you to demonstrate strong business analysis skills gained across a range of transformational as well as continuous improvement projects with excellent analysis, communication and collaboration skills and a developed intercultural awareness. Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate resilience, agility, and innovation in your approach to your work.

What you will be doing:
* Mapping customer journeys, business processes, identify areas for improvement, document requirements and enable our global delivery teams to establish consistent, high quality track records of deliveries
* Liaising with internal and external customers to gather feedback, using this to identify improvement opportunities and build customer–focused requirements
* Capturing information and data and presenting using appropriate tools
* Writing complete and clear user stories that highlight the benefits to be gained
* Delivering effective improvement projects, working independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger projects
* Reporting clearly and consistently on project progress and impact using agreed and accessible project management tools and metrics
* Maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholder groups, including proactive communication and feedback loops
* Collaborating and engaging colleagues to work as part of project teams that are globally distributed
* Supporting project teams to drive projects to completion within agreed timescales, using agile project methodologies and tools
* Managing own work to minimize obstacles, using appropriate routes of escalation to resolve conflict or unblock issues
* Building and maintaining up–to–date knowledge of analytical, development and improvement methodologies, i.e. agile development or Lean Six Sigma
* Contributing best practices and learnings to a community of business analysts
