Chief Executive Officer
Norfolk CAB

Norwich
Norfolk Citizens Advice is looking for an experienced executive to lead and inspire our highly committed team of staff and volunteers.
Our goal has always been to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.
The effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on people’s livelihoods and well–being will be felt for many, many years to come. Being able to meet the increasingly complex needs of a growing number of Norfolk people who approach us for quality assured, accredited advice will continue to both challenge and provide opportunity for service innovation.
Ultimately our success will require entrepreneurial flair and commercially astute rigour. We are a business that means business.
Our face–to–face service, offered free and impartially throughout the county, will continue to be our main focus for providing help and support. But we will also need to develop further our ability to provide advice and information through digital channels.
Looking ahead, we will also need to continue to focus on seeking new ways to supplement our main funding sources to ensure we can continue to meet the growing demand for our services. To be effective in this we will need to emphasise the impact and value we provide as a local charity for the benefit of the whole community.
It is vital that our next Chief Executive Officer will share our passion for supporting our communities, valuing diversity, promoting equality and challenging discrimination wherever we see it.
Your role will be to give strategic direction to our teams, ensure we build on the new delivery models we developed during the pandemic, and develop close relationships with a broad range of government and charitable bodies to enable highly effective partnership working.
How to apply
Application is by way of CV and a Supporting Statement.
