Client Relationship Director – Social Housing and Sustainability
GBP80K – GBP90K + Bonus Scheme + Benefits

Howells Solutions are working in partnership with a leading Construction & Regeneration Main Contractor to recruit a Client Relationship Director to engage with clients regionally to create and maintain relationships which support and enhance the bid winning potential.
You will act as the trusted partner to clients and be responsible for increasing revenue through identifying new business opportunities, raising the company's profile and increasing brand awareness across a range of services to target work within two key areas:
Energy Services Projects / Sustainability – Assisting Housing Associations, RP's and Councils achieve their sustainability and carbon neutral aspirations
Social Housing Projects: Planned & Responsive Maintenance, Gas Breakdown, Servicing and Installation, Redecoration and Refurbishment Schemes.
We are interested in speaking to Directors, Heads of Business Development or Senior Business Development Managers with experience of strategically leading a sale team to increase company revenue, with a proven track record of winning work with housing associations, local councils or public sector organisations.
Client Relationship Director Core Responsibilities
Engage with clients regionally to create and maintain relationships which support and enhance the bid winning potential. Act as the trusted partner to clients
Develop relationships with key clients, engaging in dialogue with them to identify opportunities to engage in business.
Attend and represent the business at national and regional networking events.
Maintain effective relationships with existing client base to maximise organic growth.
Proactively review and focus on key clients and their opportunities 3 years in advance of work on site and prior to bid submission.
Enter and update leads and opportunities on Sales Force.
Research and identify innovative solutions/ unique offering that acts as a differentiator.
Support the Divisional leaders and Bid team.
Ownership of Divisional Sales targetsWhat type of person are we looking for?
Extensive knowledge within the industry segment of housing maintenance, facility management.
Proven track record in managing multiple accounts and client relationships at senior level.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, the ability to convey compelling proposals to clients
Commercial acumen, numerate with an ability to understand financial/pricing models.
Demonstrable knowledge in promoting contract growth and delivering best value for the customer
Competent at bid writing processes
Working knowledge of "Sales Force" or similar systems
Natural leader and motivator of business development teams.
Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed
Business Administration or similar degree level education beneficial
Commercially astute
Advanced IT skills (Microsoft package)Reasons to Apply:
