Here are the facts about the role:
As Head of Property Maintenance, you'll be responsible for the leadership and performance of the repairs and maintenance, grounds maintenance, and caretaking / estate services.
You'll lead the department, responding to the changing needs of individuals, communities, and the wider business. Through motivating and managing the team you'll develop an effective maintenance operation that balances customer service outcomes with being cost effective, whilst ensuring there is a continuous desire to improve. You'll ensure your team demonstrate the correct behaviours that drive us forward whilst maintaining a high level of positive staff engagement.
It's essential that you hold a HNC qualification in a related subject, or relevant professional qualification. You'll have a background in service delivery in a customer centric business and demonstrate extensive knowledge of property maintenance in a regulated sector.
As a head of service, you'll play an important part in the development and success of the organisation. The key to your success is the ability to lead your team and create a high–performance culture through quality and efficiency, whilst maintaining collaborative relationships with the wider Property Services directorate.
