The VP Manufacturing Industries is recognized as a global industry expert in the manufacturing business domain, and who can evangelize how IFS faces the market in manufacturing and brief both internally and externally to Analysts and the Press. The VP will continuously expand their domain knowledge, interacting collaboratively with all parts of the IFS R&D organization, and IFS regions alike.
Working within manufacturing, one of the IFS focused industry verticals, the VP will liaise with customers and the wider Industries team, to manage and guide the manufacturing industry solution "blueprint". The VP will understand customer systems usage and propose where extra value could be offered.
The VP will work with wider Industries team and R&D to drive the delivery of industry specific proposals and solutions, including but not limited to IFS architecture, partnering solutions, functions, features and reports.
Specifically, the role will involve:
?? Being a manufacturing industry "thought leader" and being able to present with ease both internally – such presentations will include vision, strategies, value propositions etc
?? Ability to represent the manufacturing industry viewpoint on the Extended Leadership team of R&D
?? Act as one of the key social media advocates for the manufacturing industry
?? Act as the primary manufacturing industry executive in R&D responsible for briefing Analysts and the Press on manufacturing matters
?? Having a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing industry, landscape, applications, and business processes , and business issues
?? The VP will be able to assimilate and translate market trends, understand the emergent manufacturing industry requirements as they may come from analysts, competitors or customers, plus those emerging from close collaboration with IFS Regions and Partners
?? Engaging with clients to understand their requirements and scope, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits/value and use cases and a roadmap to meet their goals
?? Identifying integration points, migration requirements, security and maintenance aspects within the industry
?? Managing and oversight of the manufacturing industry reference group (IRG) process and the emergent industry solution requirements, scope, and change management issues and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes
?? Leading the manufacturing industry advisory council meetings with strategic customers
?? Working with the team of industry architects create industry specific designs and associated documentation to assist the sales process
?? Managing the manufacturing industry support to the BVA team in the execution of business value activities and associated value packet creation
?? Supporting the market units with specialist support in Business Development activities
?? Supporting marketing with campaign support and input into industry collateral
