JOB TITLE: PA TO DIRECTOR / ADMINISTRATOR

SALARY: Competitive salary dependant on experience

HOURS: Monday to Friday – permanent – full time (part time hours may be considered if over 5 days)

THE ROLE: You will be required to provide support to the Managing Director (MD) and managers as delegated by the MD, by effectively managing schedules and performing a wide variety of responsible and confidential administrative and secretarial duties. Key responsibilities will include;

Effectively manage the diary of the Managing Director whilst prioritising appointments.
Monitor and action the MD's emails, draft appropriate internal and external communications and responses as and when required.
Answering phone calls.
Deal with sensitive and often highly confidential subjects ensuring confidentiality and common sense is applied at all times.
Use strong communication skills including written briefings and formal correspondence.
Assist with the new client set up process from initial enquiry to client set up on our office IT software.
Various office administration tasks as required, scanning, filing or organisation of current systems.THE CANDIDATE:

The role requires considerable confidentiality, organisation, and independent judgement. You will have great interpersonal skills, be well presented and professional with qualities such as accuracy, flexibility and dependability. You will have the ability to provide organisational support for a Managing Director, have confidence in communication and have the ability to liaise and speak with individuals both internally and externally, i.e. Clients, Business Partners, Group Board Members etc. You will have patience and professionalism with a high degree of personal motivation, organisation and strong work ethic.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

Previous PA / senior administrative experience supporting directors and managers
Proficient computer skills and in–depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office
Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
Personable, presentable and punctual
