I am working with Atlas Elektronik who are at the very forefront of defence technology.

They are on the lookout for a Control Systems Engineer to work on ground breaking projects across the submarines and ships division.

They are looking for someone to develop and maintain software within a range of embedded systems. To provide software management throughout the development lifecycle.

Atlas Elektronik have an entrepreneurial mindset, they look for individuals who think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

Developing embedded software with C/C++ and RTOS
Using autonomous and robotics software
Involved in developing maritime systems
Open Systems Architectures and Principles
Solving complex problems and to critically review results and methods to ensure quality
Expand knowledge into new domain areas, work across domains and see the bigger pictureKey skills required:

C/C++ for embedded systems
LabView or Matlab/Simulink
Requirements management (DOORS experience desirable)
UML / Enterprise Architect for system designIn this team, the Hiring Manager can advise on outstanding performers to the hierarchy to review an individual's salary to show their value in the business. Money is not everything, of course, however, being valued in an organisation is very important to work satisfaction.

Regular reviews on areas of improvement are completed and this team is provided with a budget to complete external training courses and as well as some internal training from talented System Engineers
