This is a part time 24.5 hours a week role
To work as part of our People Hub, reporting to the Lead Internal Recruitment Partner, you will build relationships with hiring managers to recruit within the Manufacturing Business across all production streams including electrical and mechanical engineers, project roles, mining and plant management to name a few. Your success will directly impact the success of the recruitment function; Saint–Gobain is on a journey in recruitment, bringing most of our hires in–house in order to save money and create efficiencies.
To do this you will need to???
* To work closely with all members of the wider professional services and People Hub HR team to ensure customer service excellence.
* To fully embrace the Saint–Gobain Attitudes and team commitments as part of your daily activities – Be Innovative, Act as an Entrepreneur, Be Agile, Collaborate, and cultivate Customer Intimacy. * Fulfil all KPI's to be set/agreed for you and as part of a team.
* Take an active role in projects assigned by your manager – this may mean leading or supporting other people leading in your team or the wider business.
* Support with the positive promotion of the Saint–Gobain Employer Brand, through social media and the conversations you have with candidates.
What kind of person are we looking for?
First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. In addition to the five Saint–Gobain attitudes we shared at the start, suitability for the role is always key; does the following criteria sound like you?
* Experience in a recruitment role – with the ability to successfully manage vacancies from job brief through to candidate offer
* Strong time–management capability – this will be incredibly important, as a small team of recruiters managing the vacancies for our 34 UK businesses, you will have to prioritise your workload to successfully fill your vacancies
* A very capable, and passionate, resourcing expert is needed for this role – you will be using multiple sources to attract candidates, and it is important that you are able to find the very best talent with just as much success as the preferred agencies
* Strong communication skills – you will be able to build relationships with people both face–to–face and over the telephone. * Strong and capable social media user – with the capability to use for candidate attraction and brand building activities – not just sharing vacancies.
* Experience building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and HR
* A results–driven approach to your work is critical. Your success is down to you
