Software Developer / Web Application Developer
C# / .NET Core / Azure DevOps

*Our customer is based in Cardiff. Whilst the role will be fully remote initially, we anticipate that this may develop into c.2 days per week in the office in the future.

Working within a highly ambitious and friendly working environment, our customer is currently seeking to expand their Development team in line with the undertaking of new projects across the business. Reporting to the Development Team Lead, you will be involved in developing new projects, enhancing and maintaining current systems, as well as ongoing Research & Development work. We anticipate that the successful applicant for this exciting new opportunity will carry out a variety of tasks and activities, gaining exposure to working across several projects.

To prove successful within this exciting new Software Developer opportunity, we anticipate that you will have the following experience / knowledge:
*a proven track record in Software Development commercially, with experience across the full lifecycle.
*strong experience of working with C#, .NET Core, MSSQL, HTML5 and XML.
*experienced in the development of Web Applications in a commercial setting.
*competent in the use of version control systems such as Git & Subversion.
*familiarity with Agile development processes, including tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.
*ability to analyse a variety of situations with pragmatism.
*have integrity, adaptability & enthusiasm and take ownership of tasks.
*be a customer–focused, collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication.???
*a genuine love and passion for IT.

Any other skills, experience and knowledge from the list below could prove beneficial to our customer:
*a degree in a Computing / Technical discipline, or similar commercial experience.
*experience of working in a Financial Services background.
*experience with Angular, Javascript, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, Delphi, MVC, NoSQL, T–SQL or Sybase.
*knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or others.
*experience in a variety of SCRUM roles.

Among the anticipated tasks and responsibilities of the role will be:
*working cooperatively as part of a team, within our customer's architectural, operational, technical and business frameworks.
*learning existing systems and work towards locating and resolving issues.
*peer–review colleagues' code as and when required.
*ensure all changes comply with their quality standards.
*assist with new project and product development.
*stay up–to–date with new technologies and best practices, to share knowledge with other members of the Development team.
