Process Improvement Lead | Fast Growing PE Backed Business | Outside IR35 | 3-6 Month Contract | £750 - £1000 per day
The Finance Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for delivering a programme of defined procedures and training across a SAP Business One platform. You will work closely with key stakeholders in reviewing and understanding existing processes with the primary objective to drive best in class financial systems processes and associated data management. This is a ‘hands on’ position working closely with the finance team, central functions and local offices.

The Finance Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for delivering a programme of defined procedures and training across a SAP Business One platform. You will work closely with key stakeholders in reviewing and understanding existing processes with the primary objective to drive best in class financial systems processes and associated data management. This is a ‘hands on’ position working closely with the finance team, central functions and local offices.
Finance Process Improvement Lead Responsibilities:
- Immediately work towards understanding current SAP Business One systems capabilities across the finance piece whilst defining the new process improvement roadmap moving forwards
- Define the scope of the process improvement programme and achieve ‘buy in’ by working closely with the finance team to deliver confidence
- Successfully collaborate with key stakeholders to identify fit for purpose training and development methodology and tools
- Supervise the training and development programme and test the effectiveness of new measures and associated financial controls
- Resolve any conflicts and queries whilst effectively managing stakeholder expectations throughout the programme lifecycle
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or an experienced Programme Manager who can evidence changing core finance processes
- Hands on knowledge of core finance process improvement methodologies
- Demonstrable and extensive track record of SAP Business One usage (essential)
- Exceptional programme management ability in conjunction with financial/data analysis skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously with strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Emotionally Intelligent and able to negotiate / influence at all levels
- Positive attitude with a collaborative and engaging approach to working with colleagues
