The Transaction, Commercial and Contracts Advisory (TCCA) unit at Jacobs is around 50 strong and spread throughout the UK, with an office in Bologna, Italy.
TCCA provide advice and solutions where 'infrastructure touches money'. The team brings deep sector knowledge combined with business expertise, to advise public and private sector clients when they are considering investing in infrastructure assets, when these assets change hands or when clients seek to manage and/or improve the performance of their assets or their business. across the following service areas:
Lenders' Technical Advice
Commercial & Technical Due Diligence
Contracts and Procurement Advisory
Transaction Advisory TCCA provide services to global clients, on global infrastructure projects, leveraging the technical services from other parts of Jacobs, and collaborating with P3/Transaction Advisory teams in other global regions. Our team includes professionals who have deep knowledge of one element of our services as well as those who work across our service areas.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate(s) will:
Provide technical / analytical leadership to demand forecasting and market development studies. Additional capability in other aviation business planning fields such as revenue model development, operating cost performance, etc. is desirable
Lead technical report delivery for public and private sector clients
Provide technical supervision and guidance to staff
Lead client meetings and presentation of work
Pro–actively develop skills within the team both on the job and through formal training
Project manage forecasting and other related projects
Lead in the preparation of bids and marketing, and play an active role in sales development This opportunity is UK wide.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
A relevant degree (Class 2:1 or above) in a numerate discipline e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Business, Operational Research
Experienced aviation professional with demonstrable experience of producing airport demand forecasts for internal or external management consumption
Demonstrated experience of industry applicable demand forecasting techniques
Broad experience of the wider aviation sector, to include areas such as business planning, forecasting, aeronautical and commercial revenues, operating costs, regulation, strategy development, management organisation and capacity appraisal
Comprehensive knowledge of key market trends and the ability to communicate these clearly and effectively both internally and externally
Strong commercial and financial awareness, with specific appreciation of risks within the aviation sector
Excellent analytical skills, a strong ability to lead complex spreadsheet models, including familiarity with modelling best practice
Extensive experience of producing high quality technical reports for public and/or private sector clients
An interest in the aviation industry
Extensive project management experience
An ability to work effectively as part of a team and to share ideas and expertise with team members to support ongoing learning and improvement
Experience of building client relationships, work winning and report and proposal writing Desirable characteristics for this role include:
A post–graduate qualification in a relevant field
Line management experience
Previous experience of leading other (non–forecasting) technical workstreams or managing projects with a large technical component
Experience in other transport related projects, e.g. rail and toll roads The successful candidate will offer:
