We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join us and support the smooth running of our Haverfordwest Creamery.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, your purpose will be the implementation, improvement and maintenance of all site financial controls.

You will provide a service to the wider site management team that assists in the continuous improvement of site efficiency and cost.

Working with the Head of Operational Finance and the Site Team, you will provide financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.

Specifically, your role will involve:

– Preparing and reporting in–depth analysis of weekly and monthly financial data
– Supporting, developing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly KPIs for the site
– Preparing monthly management accounts, and monthly rolling forecasting, for the site with in–depth analysis around variances to budgets
– Driving the development and reporting of the annual budget with in–depth, clear variance analysis
– Supporting Site Managers with operational and efficiency information as required
– Identifying areas of inefficiency and leading projects that improve operational performance
– Continually review the financial processes and procedures, establishing best practice in all areas of responsibility
– Work with key stakeholders to ensure Site Financials meet legal requirements

About You

To join us as our Finance Manager, you will need:

– To be qualified to ACCA or CIMA standard
– Previous experience of working in an FMCG environment
– To be highly numerate with strong IT and financial analysis skills
– Have strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
– To be self – motivated and work on your own initiative
– Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
– To be determined to succeed and take ownership for delivering consistently
– Be solution focused
