Full Time, Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover (12 Months)

We are now recruiting for a Logistics Business Analyst to join us. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Logistics Business Partner in preparation & explanation of the monthly accounts and local reports for the Logistics function of CMBC.
Key Accountabilities:
* Analysing data from 3PL suppliers Secondary & Primary
* Month end journals creation & posting into SAP
* Local reporting to Logistics Management teams
* Central overhead budget management, including payroll checks
* Budget & forecast model preparations
* Assisting with budget & forecast calculations
* Complete monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany recharge calculations & requisitions
* Capex Administration
* Liaising with outsourced 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) suppliers and internal managers, to get financial figures & reports, analysing them and preparing financial transactions
* Assisting in preparation & reporting of financial plans (budgets and forecasts) throughout the year.
* Assisting with the Integration of the two businesses forming CBC – covering integration of finance function, logistics function, SAP system and processes
Experience and Key Attributes required:
* Experience of Overhead accounting essential
* Experience within accounting function
* Experience of providing finance support to non–finance managers
* Ideally, holds or is studying towards an Accountancy Qualification
* Self–motivated & self–sufficient, with the ability to adapt to change
* Able to work alone or in a team
* Ability to identify and deliver process improvements
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Attention to detail and proven delivery of tasks to deadlines
* Good Excel skills & model building experience
* Experience of SAP/BI
