Type: Contract

Day Rate: GBP600 – GBP675 per day

CPS Group UK are delighted to be seeking a Broadcast Programme Manager with specialist Broadcast / OTT Media experience to spearhead a range a large Broadcast Technology Programme in both the UK & EMEA. The role requires a true Programme Manager, who is comfortable managing Senior stakeholders and VP's and who is happy to be hands–on when required.

The role requires in–depth knowledge of the Broadcast Management eco–system, including:
Scheduling systems, Rights Management, Metadata and Adsales. Experience with Sintec Onair and/or Media Genix would be ideal.

Role Requirements

–Deliver within a complex international programme, overseeing the migration and integration of international broadcast media systems and content
–Provide clear leadership and management to aide in the successful delivery of the Programme
–Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
–Ensure that all projects are delivered on–time, within the scope and budget
–Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
–Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document requirements
–Ensure work with senior stakeholders and line managers to ensure resource requirements are understood and team members' availability and allocation
–Develop detailed; comprehensive project plans to share with clients and stakeholders to monitor and track progress
–Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
–Have a fact and data–driven based approach to measure project performance using the right tools and techniques
–Report and escalate to management as needed
–Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
–Perform risk management to minimise project risks
–Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
–Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Key Experience Required

–Proven working experience in project & program management of multinational, multi–platform broadcast projects
–Knowledge and experience delivering migration projects between programming and scheduling applications (OnAir and What's ON application knowledge would be preferred)
–Familiarity with broadcast eco–system tools and technology – Playout & distribution, Media Asset Management (MAM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Rights Management, Transcoding, and relevant Workflows.
–Proven experience of working with internal software development and QA teams.
–External Vendor management.
–Excellent client–facing and internal communication skills
–Excellent written and verbal communication skills
–Demonstrable problem–solving approach
–Clear written and verbal communication
–Solid organisational skills, including where attention to detail and multitasking is a must
–Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
–Project & Program Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is desirable
