Our prestige engineering client is currently recruiting for the following role:
Lead Business Analyst – Warwickshire based – Salary circa GBP45k p.a. + 10% performance related pay bonus.
Role:
Lead Business Analyst required to work across multiple projects within the order to delivery (commercial) domain. Working for a project manager leading the business analysis phase and supporting the design and delivery of software changes and handover to operations.
Responsibility:
– Use Agile project methodology
– Define business problems and carry out requirement gathering workshops to capture detailed business requirements
– Interpret business requirements into requirement specifications. Create Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure all requirements are considered in solution and appropriate test strategy is defined for each requirement.
– Engage with project leads to ensure that the defined requirements are understood, are accurately documented and fully meet the solution requirements of the project.
– Create interface catalogue so all related applications / capabilities are considered in the scope of the solution.
– Carry out data analysis to map out any changes to the data model
– Work with cross–functional business teams to re–engineer business processes and continuous improvement efforts, being able to map process flows
– Create functional requirements in use cases/stories
– Coordinate requirements walk–through and sign–offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.
– Contribute to project planning activities
– Lead other Business analysis resources within the team, define their yearly key performance indicators and carry out performance review at end of each year.
– Lead business analysis phase for large programmes.
Experience / Skills Required:
– Able to lead business analysis work requirements within large projects/programmes of work
– Experience of working as a business analysis in a large manufacturing environment
– Able to document Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, Interface documentation, systems diagrams, touch point, system process documents
– Understanding of systems concepts, modelling techniques and methods
– Ability to produce clear and concise documentation suitable for technical and non–technical audiences
– Experience of outsourced and offshore IT delivery model
