We are working with a global leader of fluid energy products to support the appointment of a Lean Supply Chain Director to design and implement of a global lean fulfilment model across multiple global sites
The Director of Lean Fulfilment operates strategically and tactically and works closely with the leadership teams on each individual site as well as the VP of Global Operations and the Supply Chain function. They also have periodic involvement and dialogue with the Group Supply Chain functon.
Development of a Lean Fulfilment Strategy
* With VP Ops, develop a Lean Fulfilment model to manage products, linking to e–commerce demand input
* Lean fulfilment Model will provide a customer lead time and delivery date at the point of order, and manage the shop floor production planning and data
* Develop a 2 year roll out plan for multiple international sites, starting with Europe and moving to US and Far East
* Development must take into account the differing ERP systems in existence within the PST sites
* Build strong, value added relationship with suppliers, internal customers, and cross functional departments.
Implementation across Global PST SItes
* Design and implement a site focused training program on the Lean Fulfilment model
* Travel to international sites to support the Site Management functions throughout implementation to ensure understanding and correct utilization
* Be the ambassador for the new way of working, drive the change and motivate the teams to understand the benefits to both them and the wider business
* Act as the custodian of information on the Lean Fulfilment model, to support effective internal communication, as well as external customer relationship building
* Ensure the processes are sustainable once introduced
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* In depth knowledge of MRP/ ERP systems
* Detailed understanding of the end to end ERP system from order placement through to delivery
* Data driven and statistically minded, able to understand complex data and process into usable system processes
* Experience managing the end to end Supply chain process, from demand planning, capacity planning, inventory control to delivery
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills with the ability to implement change within multicultural environments
* Able to teach and motivate, bring the team with them to ensure the changes implemented are sustainable
* Has designed and brought systems and processes to life rather than followed an already established process
* Prepared to travel minimum 50% of the working month on a global basis internationally including Far East and US
This role is based from home and requires good links to international airports.
We anticipate around 50% global travel going forward.
Salary offerings around GBP80–100k plus bonus, car allowance, pension, private medical.
