Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Business Partner to join our team to work in Birmingham.
Role Purpose:
As Stakeholder Engagement Business Partner you will participate in the development of the Balfour Beatty Vinci's community reputation through coordinating, contributing to and delivering Community Engagement activities in sublot area(s) as required: Such as:
* Developing plans
* Supporting responses to enquiries and complaints
* Coordinating and supporting events
* Developing and maintaining process to support stakeholder engagement
* Reporting, analysis and improvement
What you'll be doing:
As Stakeholder Engagement Business Partner you will work within the Stakeholder Management team that will work collaboratively with various joint venture's various teams. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the development and delivery of a project and customer aligned community engagement strategy that delivers an effective and engaging approach to target audiences
* Ensuring all communications are on brand accurate and signed off by the appropriate stakeholders
* Working closely with the project team to, identify potential risks, issues and support mitigation through proactive and reactive communications
* Facilitate enquiry and complaint resolution in a prompt and professional manner
* Support the creation and delivery community liaison and community investment plans in specific sublots
* Coordinate and deliver sublot community investment projects
* Support, create and deliver required Community Engagement materials in keeping with HS2 and parent company processes and standards. (This includes: letters, e–mails, notifications, social media material, poster, hoardings, signage, etc)
* Support an effective site and community visit programme, identifying opportunities to showcase expertise and build trust with the local community
* Participate in delivering the Project's the Considerate Contractors Scheme
* Supporting the business at times of major incidents or crises and working out of hours to support project requirements
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
* Excellent analytical skills
* Team player with ability to influence and negotiate
* Strong problem–solving skills
* Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with major project and civil construction concepts
* Knowledge of business process development and reporting
Desirable:
* Experience of developing communication and engagement plans
* Experience of organising public facing evets and engagements
* Experience of working on large building/civil engineering infrastructure projects and/or the construction industry
* Good understanding of the regulatory environment in construction/rail/utility industries
