This is an exciting time to join us at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. We are establishing a series of new roles which will be pivotal in building on achievements, and lead ambitious plans to make continuous improvements to the services we provide, for the people of North Wales.
In line with the 'A Healthier Wales' plan the Health Board is committed to delivering an increasing proportion of care and support within primary and community care services, and we are developing a digitally enabled clinical strategy and have seen rapid improvements in response to the Covid pandemic.
The Associate Director of Unscheduled Care will develop, implement and evaluate the planned care strategy aiming for a cycle of continuous improvement within the services with a focus on innovation and technology. Oversight of the service and careful management of capacity and demand will ensure effective patient flow and that performance and quality targets are achieved.
The post holder will work closely with colleagues to ensure delivery of the annual plan, and associated programmes of work. The successful candidate will have a flair for effective communication, a collaborative approach and the ability to engage and inspire the workforce, to ensure effective delivery through people.
