Business Analyst – Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary – 40k plus company car & excellent benefits
Software House, Business analyst (BA), Waterfall, Agile, UAT, Implementation, TDD, BDD, SDLC
This advanced software house based in Tamworth, Staffordshire with good links to Birmingham, Lichfield, Cannock and Leicester, are pioneering the latest technology and are in the market to recruit several Business Analysts.
Ideally the BA will have 2–5 years commercial experience with good business acumen and a solid understanding of the Software development lifecycle. It is preferable that you come from a Software House background and have a proven track record of working with developers & Testers producing solutions for clients.
The ideal Business Analyst will champion best practice and application development methodologies and use this understanding and knowledge for the production of the deliverables required at each stage of the project life cycle.
Key duties includes;
* Gathering information and translating this into straightforward business and project documents.
* Identifying solutions to business issues and looking for business opportunities
* Supporting customers during the implementation of a largely standard packaged application.
* Prepare system documentation and liaise with Development teams
* Providing input to project estimates.
Core skills & experience for the Business Analyst role include;
– Demonstrable aptitude for analysing application problems, ideally using a formal analysis methodology, and the building of solutions.
– Experience in working to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.
– Understand the phases of the development life cycle, and how they are related.
– Excellent communication & documentation skills.
– Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients.
– Excellent communication and problem solving skills
