BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ELECTRICAL / SOLAR

Business Development Manager Duties & Responsibilities
Working from the head office in Rochester, Kent, generating leads and occasionally meeting prospective clients/customers, mainly within the Business to Business market. Specialising in Solar PV/Solar Energy Sales. Some knowledge of the engineering / electrical sector would be beneficial, but product training can be given.
Attending client sites with the Director to carry out surveys in order to provide accurate quotes/proposals
Business Development Manager Experience and Skills
* You will have at least 1 years' experience within a Business Development role and ideally having come from a similar background selling engineering or construction based services into other businesses.
* Due to a new government scheme, offering businesses across the UK huge tax breaks when using Solar Power/Solar Energy, this is an excellent time to utilise the scheme and make hay while the sunshine's.
* You will have a company laptop and mobile phone.
* So you will need to be a motivated individual, with the ability to get up and get going without being asked. This allows you the freedom to control your diary and manage your time effectively and feel trusted to do the job to the best of your ability.
Business Development Manager Salary, Package and Benefits
* Salary is negotiable but from GBP35,000 to GBP40,000 Per Annum + Performance based bonuses (OTE in excess of GBP45,000 upwards)
* Pension scheme
* 20 Days Holiday + Public Holidays
