Sharp Consultancy are acting as the exclusive partner for a highly reputable client within the Sheffield region who are in need of an FD to join the business within a newly created role to lead the business as it embarks on the next stage of its international growth.
Our client is a small sub £10m T/O business having successfully grown year on year since its inception but due to recent PE investment is now looking at a more dynamic growth strategy and will be looking to treble turnover over the next 18 months.
The business has a range of key clients and is a solution specialist providing key business support across challenging projects.
*You will report directly into the MD on a daily basis but must be available at all times for senior level PE reviews and analysis.
*You must have already worked at an FD or CFO level with significant responsibility for performance and leadership of a business.
*You will also manage a small team which includes qualified and non-qualified accountants as well as transactional support.
All applicants must be qualified, and it is essential you can show a clear level of success within a previous FD appointment. Any previous experience of a Private Equity or investment backed business would be highly advantageous but not necessarily essential.
You must possess strong management and coaching skills, be an excellent communicator and lead with the required gravitas to drive the business at all levels.
