The Day Job
As a Business Analyst you will be the essential bridge between IT and the business, ensuring communication remains strong across these stakeholders. You will have a desire to tackle problems, good attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously as well as in partnership with others. During the course of your career with Sopra Steria you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects across our various clients, you will also contribute to pre–sales assignments and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in collaboration with the client to define scope and deliverables for the assignment, ensuring excellent engagement with all key stakeholders
• Delivering the assignment in partnership with the delivery team ensuring it is within agreed scope, time, financial and quality measures.
• Identify and address operational and technical risk to the successful delivery.
• Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
• Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
• Lead or participate in multiple projects to ensure delivery as per the Sopra Steria standard whilst ensuring the needs and expectations of your client are achieved

Required skills
You need to have:

• Proven experience of working as a senior Business Analysis on large or complex programmes/projects
• Experience in applying the BA toolset throughout the development lifecycle
• You will come from an IT Services / Business and IT Consultancy background
• You will have a good understanding and demonstrate experience in applying skills within the following methodologies: waterfall, Agile. Hybrid, Iterative
• Results orientated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills working stakeholders and various levels of seniority
• You will have proven presentation skills and be able to communicate well both written and verbally
