Managing Director MANAD/811/16

Our client is a well established multi–sited food processing and distribution business. Due to continued expansion and a period of re–organisation, they wish to appoint a Managing Director to strengthen their senior leadership team.

The Role–

• Reporting directly into the Chairman and the board, you will have full P&L responsibility for the day to day, operational and commercial, running of the business.
• To standardised operating policies and procedures across the 3 sites. Working closely with the FD on new IT and administrative systems.
• To deliver and implement a strategic plan for profitable new business growth, whilst maintaining a close relationship with the key accounts and overall customer base.

The Person–

• Ideally you will have proven leadership experience in a FMCG food operation and an understanding of the agri–food sector.
• You will have a thorough understanding of supply chain/logistics, ideally in a fast–moving seasonal business.
• An appreciation of plant, equipment, maintenance and repair, whilst not essential would be desirable, as well as experience of Health & Safety.
