Economic Development Project Manager
*Local Council* *High–streets and Town centres*
The role:
The council was awarded GBP220,000 from the European Union funded Reopening High Streets Safely Fund RHSSF) to deliver a range of activities to support town centre and district centres.
The Post holder will develop and manage a range of activities to encourage footfall and spend in Harrow's High Streets.
Duties:
* To project manage the delivery of the ERDF Welcome Back programme.
* To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and the terms and conditions of grant funding s.
* To develop a programme of activities to support the full reopening of Town Centre, and district and local centres.
* To develop an action plan to support the reopening with the Communication team, Public Protection, Licensing, Transport Highways and Asset Management, Economic Development, Street Cleaning, and Planting). Externally the Project Manager will work with HA1 Business Improvement District and Traders Associations.
* To complete funding claims and monitoring information in compliance with the requirements of the funding body.

* Project management; working to tight timescales and deadlines on own initiative
* Managing a range of stakeholders across the public and private sector

* Experience working with economic development / regeneration preferred but consideration will be given to local government experiences candidates
