Front-End UI Developer - VP

UI, Javascript, HTML5, Linux, end of day overnight risk,

We have a one off VP level Front End UI developer role for a top tier bank, who are hiring for their rich, interactive UI that summarises vast amount of end-of-day risk + ticking intraday risk and market data. The application is build on using HTML5/ExtJS 6.0.

The team you will be joining is very technical, self motivated and strong interest in design and technology. The client follows an Agile approach to software development and work closely with business sponsors.

Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for designing and developing the UI to present data in a way that allows senior Front Office heads to quickly identify areas of risk that need attention
. You will work with the latest web technologies and influence the HTML5 strategy for the team
. You will be expected to promote best practices, in terms of development tools, technologies and testing

Desired Skills:

* Sencha/ExtJS (or similar frameworks such as React or Angular)
. JavaScript ES10, HTML5 and CSS3
. Automated GUI testing

* Linux and Shell Scripting
. Excellent Communication Skills
. Experience in complete dev cycle
