Digital Project Manager
Basingstoke
GBP300+ per day
Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Digital Project Manager based in Basingstoke and Deane. The role is a temporary position, initially lasting three months but with scope to be extended for a full year. The contract is 37 hours per week.
This role is to provide project management for our digital programme. You will work with the Digital Programme Manager to initiate, manage and successfully deliver a variety of projects which form part of the Councils Digital Transformation Programme. These projects are core to the Council's Digital strategic priorities and may be complex and have significant inter–dependencies.
You will be required to prepare and maintain project management plans, quality, communication and risk plans, effectively manage and report on project budgets in accordance with the Councils Financial processes and standards, work with multidisciplinary teams of stakeholders from a variety of business areas, and advise the business in relation to their ICT needs as part of the Digital Transformation Programme.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have demonstrable experience of leading complex projects and working with senior teams.
* Have advanced skills in prioritisation of work across multiple projects
* Have experience of dealing with external contractors, negotiating and contract management as well as engaging flexible resource as required to support delivery
* Have proven credibility and possess strong interpersonal and relationship building skills that enable you to work with people at all levels
* Be able to develop innovative solutions to problems
* Have up to date knowledge of Local Government and relevant policy, practice and legislation
