This role will be based out of Cardiff, but 100% home based.
This is a senior role in the organisation helping them change reporting standards from IFRS4 to IFRS17.

My client is one of the larges Life/Insurance businesses in the UK
Description
The Senior Financial Change Accountant will lead aspects of the delivery of Finance change relating to the new reporting standards known as IFRS 17 with a particular focus on the implications for the Group Finance Shared Service Centre ('SSC') function, but with an understanding of the impact to the broader organisational landscape.
Take a significant role in the management, design, delivery and implementation of IFRS 17 change that affects the SSC accounting systems and processes.
Work effectively with the appropriate business divisions and internal customers to ensure that all systems and process changes are effectively designed and delivered through to production in an efficient, cost-effective and timely manner, whilst maintaining technical accounting integrity and alignment with commercial objectives.
Through effective networks, communication management and technical ability and experience, ensure any requirements impacting accounting systems are captured and delivered. This includes a detailed review of the accounting systems, processes and controls impacted by the change, identifying the impacts, proposing solutions through innovative and creative methods and delivering the end to end change methodology as required to enable the business to succeed.
Profile
You will be a technically strong Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA
yu will have implemented financial reporting changes to IFRS before.
You will have worked in a FS/Life/Insurance business and understand how IFRS repoprting effects the wider business.
You will be able to lead a small team.

Salary c£65,000 - £90,000
