Head of Data Engineering & Reporting - Azure - Data - Analytics - Datawarehousing

Role: Head of Data Engineering & Reporting

Location: Midlands (Homeworking)

Salary: GBP60,000

Sector: Not-for-profit

This is a new position which will build a new function within a Not-for-profit organisation who are building a Datawarehouse and implementing Azure technologies.

Essential skills/experience:

  • Experience leading and mentoring a team
  • Experience of 'modern' data engineering techniques
  • Demonstrable experience designing and developing data warehouses and an ability to alight the new data warehouse to the company's overall technology strategy
  • Datawarehousing experience
  • Good business facing skills - an ability to work with non-technical directors on their own data capabilities
  • Ability to educate the business on ensuring their own data quality
  • *Assist with the transition from Excel reporting to Power BI
