Commercial Litigation/Professional Indemnity Lawyer -Taunton/Bristol/Home Working
Your new company
Our client is a forward thinking and leading global law firm with an excellent reputation in dispute resolution and insurance services with an enviable reputation. They are currently looking for an Associate to work in their Professional Liability team, with a focus on Construction Professional Indemnity cases. This role will be based in their Taunton office, however there is flexibility in terms of working from home for a few days per week, and the potential to work from their Bristol office on an ad-hoc basis.
Your new role
Joining the highly successful and experienced Insurance team, you will manage a broad caseload of very interesting and high value claims, providing complex defence advice in a vast range of both heavy and light construction PI disputes. Your clients will include Insurers and Reinsurers, Building contractors, Solicitors, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Financial Institutions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a 2+PQE Solicitor with experience in either Commercial Litigation or Professional Indemnity matters. Experience of professional indemnity defence work, plus policy and coverage issues in the Construction PI sector is ideal, but not essential.
Team fit is more important than your experience or academic record however you will need to be able to demonstrate your interest within this evolving area of the law.
