The Role – Head of Medical Technology

You will be responsible for:

Leading the medical imaging technology team
Advising customers on viable equipment upgrades whilst adhering to agreed budgets
Specification and selection of medical equipment and associated software applications for customers looking to upgrade medical imaging or biomeidcal equipment
Maintaining company's knowledge repository base on medical equipment evolution – this will cover imaging, biomedical equipment and endoscopy equipment
Your Background – Head of Medical Technology

To apply you should be able to demonstrate the following:

Extensive experience managing complex multi–level, multi–stakeholder managed service contracts
Thorough understanding of medical equipment function and upkeep, ideally gained in a clinical user, radiology or medical engineering capacity
Experience working with or for healthcare providers / suppliers
Understanding and development of medical technology functionality and banding within MES schemes
Management of equipment selection processes within NHS or private sector hospitals
Detailed understanding of the medical equipment technology lifecycle and medical equipment applications
Commercially aware of the implications of equipment selection on lifecycle costs and MES financials
