9-12 MONTHFIXED TERM CONTRACT (TO PERMENANT FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE)
BOUTIQUE PRACTICE
LONDON SW1

EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE
This boutique employment and partnership law practice has a phenomenal reputation for advising on high profile and high value matters. Its lawyers are leaders in their field and offer real expertise across a range of issues affecting professional partnerships. Due to the continued growth of the business, the firm is now looking to add an experienced Commercial Litigation lawyer to its team.
You can expect to be working on a fascinating mix of contentious partnership matters, from senior executive departures and team moves to boardroom disputes.
Much of the work the firm undertakes is of a sensitive nature and involves large companies/partnerships or individuals at a senior (often Board) level, with a desire on both sides for a quick and discreet resolution. The firm does a significant amount of work with partners in the professional services and financial services sectors, including hedge funds, insurance, private equity, accountancy and law firms.
The focus of your work will be on employment-related Commercial Litigation and candidates should be able to demonstrate significant experience gained in the High Court. It would be advantageous if candidates had multi-jurisdictional experience, but this is not essential.
The firm is looking for a lawyer to slot into this busy practice and to have the capability and experience to be able to run and organise matters with minimal supervision.
You will ideally be working for a niche firm, a silver circle firm or a large national firm (perhaps in the regions) and will have the confidence to be able to hold your own amongst the firm's impressive client base. Whilst you do not need to be able to bring work in, you should be an effective networker.
The team works collaboratively and is looking for a bright, astute and commercially-minded team player who is passionate about their work but are also fun to be around. You will be slotting into a good team structure and working with some of the most highly rated lawyers in this field.
